Maintaining a handicap is an integral part of playing golf. Whether golfing for the social environment, for competition or for business, having a current handicap is an indication that the golfer has some experience with the game. By leveling the playing field, handicaps are also the vehicle which allows golfers of different abilities to play together in an enjoyable manner.

All EWGA members have access to the EWGA’s Handicap System – Golf Life Management System (GLMS) – which is powered by GolfNet. This system calculates a handicap index based on requirements set forth by the USGA so EWGA members who utilize GLMS are receiving official USGA handicap indexes. |
